I am attempting to install Oracle SQL Developer Version 4.1.1. Onto my MacBook Pro after installing OS X El Capitan. After I download the application and attempt to click on the icon to install it, the application's loading prompt appears and the 'loading' bar moves about 5% to the part where it says 'registering extensions' right above the loading bar. When I download SQL developer from OTC, the icon just appears on my download list, I open it. How do you extract it? It just opens but is missing the connect bottom on the connection menu. It has the test bottom though 3. When I do ls in the terminal I only see three files: 4.1.0, system4.1.3.20.78, and tmp. Any help is really appreciated.
